Job Summary
The Assistant HR Manager will assist in managing the daily operations of the Human Resources department. The role involves recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. The Assistant HR Manager will support the HR Manager in implementing HR initiatives and improving employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Forecast future staffing needs based on business growth and plan recruitment accordingly.
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, from identifying job requirements to finalizing candidates.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Promote employee wellness programs, including mental health initiatives.
- Handle routine HR administrative tasks such as preparing reports, managing employee files, and drafting HR-related correspondence.
- Support the HR Manager in managing disciplinary actions and maintaining workplace harmony.
- Implement and manage the company’s performance management system, including regular performance appraisals.
- Act as a mediator in conflicts between employees and management, ensuring fair resolution of disputes.
- Oversee payroll operations and ensure timely and accurate processing of employee salaries and benefits.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment law, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships at all levels.
