Fleet (Highway) Supervisor (NPW , MDY)

Job Summary

The Fleet (Highway) Supervisor is responsible for managing and monitoring highway drivers, vehicles, and related operations to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective long-distance transportation. This role involves supervising drivers, planning routes, monitoring fleet performance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. 

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and assign tasks to highway drivers.
• Plan and monitor highway routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
• Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Oversee loading/unloading processes to ensure cargo safety.
• Handle driver schedules, shifts, and leave planning.
• Track fleet performance using GPS/transport management systems.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on fleet activities.
• Respond to emergencies, accidents, or breakdowns and arrange support.
• Train and guide drivers to improve efficiency, safety, and customer service.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fleet/transport supervision, preferably in highway operations.
• Strong knowledge of highway routes, transport regulations, and vehicle management.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Office and fleet/GPS tracking systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel.
