Job Summary
The HR Executive (Recruitment & Selection) is responsible for driving the talent acquisition lifecycle to support business growth and operational staffing needs. This role focuses on sourcing, screening, assessing, and onboarding high-quality candidates across various departments, ensuring that vacancies are filled efficiently with the right talent while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Sourcing & Candidate Pipeline Management
- Source passive and active candidates through diverse channels, including online job portals (e.g., JobNet, JobSpace), professional networks (LinkedIn), social media platforms, and local recruitment agencies.
- Maintain and continuously update a robust internal talent pool/database for recurring roles to minimize time-to-hire.
- Coordinate and represent the company at local career fairs, university recruitment drives, and industry networking events.
- End-to-End Recruitment Operations
- Draft, update, and post engaging job vacancy announcements across internal and external platforms based on approved staff requisitions.
- Review incoming applications, conduct initial phone screenings, and shortlist candidates against predefined job specifications.
- Schedule and organize structured interviews, coordinating calendars between candidates and departmental hiring managers.
- Facilitate behavioral or technical assessment tests where applicable.
- Selection, Offering & Onboarding
- Conduct comprehensive background checks, employment verification, and reference checks for finalized candidates.
- Assist the HR Manager in negotiating compensation packages and preparing formal Job Offer Letters.
- Manage the pre-onboarding process, ensuring new hires submit necessary documentation (labor cards, degrees, identification certificates).
- Hand over selected candidates to the Employee Relations/Training unit for formal corporate induction and onboarding.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or internal recruitment trackers daily.
- Generate weekly and monthly recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and vacancy fulfillment rates.
- Keep all recruitment files, interview notes, and candidate scorecards highly confidential and organized.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Management or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in HR (generalist or relevant area).
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good knowledge of HR functions and local labor law.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Responsible, proactive and able to work as part of a team.
